Design & Portability
The Dragon Touch Max10 has a standard design. On the top-right is a USB-C charging port, behind it and on the back of the tablet is a micro SD port. Both the power button and volume control are located on the right side of the tablet. Both speakers are located on the bottom.
It has a solid weight and feels to it. Like most 10-inch tablets, it has a hefty feel to it. This isn’t a tablet you’d want for portability for its big screen size. It’s one, however, that you would want if you are in the market for a solidly built budget tablet.

Specs
The inner specs are mid-range and entry-level. It has an Octa-Core Processor, 3GB RAM, and comes with 32GB of storage. The CPU is fairly strong and has nice 1.6GHz cores. The RAM quality and speed of storage are what you would expect from an entry-level tablet. Finally, it comes with Dual-band WiFi that supports both a 2.4GHz and a 5GHz network.
Screen/Display
This is a large tablet with a 10.1 inch HD screen. The screen quality, although not the best, is nice and clear. When taking into account the price and other tablets in this same price range, it’s much easier to see how great the screen actually is. Likewise, the response time of the tablet is quite good and makes for quite a smooth experience.
OS
The Dragon Touch Max10 comes with the latest Android 10 Pie Operating system. Due to the Dragon’s inner specs, it runs fantastically. The OS itself is faster and more advanced than previous versions. It was also quite responsive and proved to be quite capable of doing everything I wanted. There were no invasive ads and there were also very few bloatware apps installed.
Performance
As I mentioned before, the Dragon Touch Max10 is a very powerful tablet for its price point. It was able to easily pass all of my benchmarks with flying colours. The touch screen is very responsive. There was also a very little delay in opening most of the apps I used. The apps themselves also performed quite well and there was little to no crashing at all.
Camera
The Max10 comes equipped with front and back cameras. The front is 5MP while the back is 8MP. Both performed quite well. The quality was also quite good. Obviously, the quality doesn’t really compare to a high-end tablet. When it comes to budget tablets, however, that is an entirely different matter. Both cameras are located on top of the tablet near the centre.
Speakers
The Dragon Touch Max10 comes with a pair of speakers located on the bottom of the unit. The sound quality is quite nice and the unit can actually get quite loud. The positioning of the speakers, however, isn’t the best. When holding the unit upright, it’s all too easy to accidentally block the speakers with your hand. Thankfully, they are spaced far enough apart that it rarely becomes a major issue.
Battery
This tablet comes with a Lithium Polymer battery. It has a 5000 mAh long-lasting battery that can last anywhere between 6 and 10 hours. Compared to other similarly priced units, this is quite good. Likewise, the included charger is able to fully charge the unit in only a small handful of hours. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the battery life of the Max10.
Connectivity
The Dragon Touch can connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi signals. The signal strength for both was quite good. Despite being quite the distance away from the router, I was able to easily get close to 5 bars. The actual connection was also quite good and was able to browse the web without very many slowdowns or dropped connections.
Other Features
The tablet was very easy to set up. Unlike many other tablets, it was also quite a fast process. It came with a somewhat standard 32GB storage capacity with the option to upgrade the capacity if needed. It also has Bluetooth connectivity. This was also quite fast and easily met my expectations. The quality of the sound from the standard 3.5mm headphone jack is also great and a lot better than you would expect from this price point.
Accessories
Unsurprisingly, out of the box, the Dragon Touch Max10 comes with the bare minimum of accessories. These include a user manual, Type-C USB Charger, and a wall plug. Due to the Dragon’s low price, this is neither unexpected nor negative. More importantly, however, is the actual charger itself.
Unlike other equivalent out-of-the-box chargers, the one that came with the Dragon Touch is quite good. It was able to fully charge the tablet after only a handful of hours. Extra accessories are always nice to have, but personally, I would much rather have quality over quantity. In the Dragon’s case, it more than delivers on the former.
Uses
The Dragon Touch Max10 Tablet is a mid-range tablet. Its inner specs all confirm this point. This means that the Dragon Touch isn’t the tablet you would want for heavy gaming or intricate multi-tasking. The good news, however, is that the Dragon isn’t meant for such things anyway. If you’re looking at the tablet, you shouldn’t either.
Instead, the Dragon Touch excels when it comes to light internet browsing and Google service app usage. Email, TV apps, and Netflix, likewise, all perform suitably well. Truth be told, I was actually quite surprised at how well some of my apps actually ran on the Dragon Touch Max 10.
The Final Verdict For Dragon Touch Max10
Overall, the Dragon Touch Max10 Tablet is a solid mid-range tablet for the price. It’s more of an entry-level tablet and is suitable for anyone currently in the market for a basic tablet for light use. It’s are not suitable for anything that requires heavy use, however. Most gaming and heavy multitasking, for example, are both off the table. For anything else, however, the Dragon Touch makes for a great choice.
With a budget-friendly price and great specs, the Dragon Touch is the perfect mix of affordability and performance. Combined with a long-lasting battery and a solid build, you end up with a tablet that is well worth the price tag.
